Position Summary

Larvol provides data and software solutions to support the competitive intelligence needs of the pharmaceutical and life science industries. Since 2004, we have been providing comprehensive data & information analysis for the most prominent pharmaceutical companies in the world and continue to expand. We are looking for a VP of Sales to leader our sales team and sales efforts to drive revenue growth and customer acquisition.  This is a great role for an experienced Sales professional looking to challenge themselves in a company with a lot of growth opportunities.

We are seeking a talented leader for our Sales team to take our revenue to the next level.  The Vice President of Sales will be a member of our Executive Team and the senior-most Sales-person in the company, reporting to the CEO. You will be responsible for mentoring and managing a team of 5+ Account Managers and other Sales functions. The VP will grow our business in existing and new markets, oversee all Sales initiatives and strategy, as well as developing and growing our existing team. It is an excellent opportunity for a high-performing Sales manager to take their career to the next level in a growing industry with a talented group of colleagues.

Responsibilities
  • Meet and exceed annual quota
  • Set and monitor KPI’s regularly to ensure individuals and team are on track to meet pipeline targets
  • Manage the sales cycles or new business and work in concert with the Customer Success team on renewals
  • Hire and manage Account Managers and related team members
  • Be the decision-maker on sales tools, utilize internal and external resources as appropriate
Skills / Experience
  • 3+ years managing teams selling software or content subscription solutions
  • 5+ years of experience in selling strategic solutions to Director-level or higher prospects
  • Verifiable success in both of the above aspects
  • Success in nurturing sales talent at multiple levels
  • Able to work autonomously when needed or with a highly-engaged Executive team when the situation calls for it
  • Oral and written communication skills are a must, as is being comfortable learning new technology
  • University degree
  • Experience on the commercial side of pharma or life sciences highly preferred
  • Located in the Americas or Europe, able to travel globally up to 25% of the time

Other Info

Compensation: $150k+ base, OTE $350k, uncapped commission, equity after one year. Our current compensation package does not include medical/health/dental benefits.
